Custom tune with WedgePerformance starts tomorrow.
I have been running a PTF custom 93 tune and E50 tune for the past 8 months. I have been very happy with the Dzenno's tunes but I want to give Ken at WedgePerformance a shot of tuning my Z4. I will post some dyno results once Ken gets the tune dialed in.

First Wedge Map and previous PTF 93 Map. Both logs were done on same stretch of road and in the same gear.
Wedge updated my map based on my first log and I will try to get out again this weekend and run another log. Last edited by Lambobimmer; 01-10-2015 at 02:29 PM.. |

Yes, Virtual Dyno measures at the wheels. Wedge is still working on the map and I have another one to run but we are getting close. Both maps are on 93 octane.
Very happy so far. |

I have been working with Wedge over the past few weeks and we are on version 5 on a 93 octane map. It feels very strong and runs super smooth. Here is my most recent log:

Damn, how accurate is virtual dyno? It must not just feel strong, 400 at the wheels must be very quick. I just this second got an email from Wedge, can't wait!

It is fairly accurate if you log correctly. I am not so concerned about numbers and I use it more for the graphs but in my experience it is usually within 10 hp up or down.

I'm curious how you use Virtual Dyno. Do you download it to your wireless device, then plug the device into your OBD2? Or do you log with, for example your AccessPort, then send that log data to the Virtual Dyno app?
