PB Big brake Kit

Hi folks,

Anyone over here tried PB brakes or has any opinion on them. I am looking into doing a BBK upgrade on my 35is. It is between the Brembo (front only) or the PB brakes which is both front and rear. They will cost about the same, a little more for the PB brakes. Not a big fan of the F30 BBK upgrade for some reason.

Thanks,
Jake.

I have been exchanging emails with the owner of PB brakes Dan and he is very responsive and seems like a good company. Although I am just a bit weary to spend close to 3800$ for something without getting all the possible about it.

Please report back if you pull the trigger on this. I am thinking about it as well but need to do a few things already lined up first.

I got 6 pot 356x32 in the front and 4 pot 330x28mm in the rear, and yes those are Anodized Red. But if I had to redo I would definitely have gone for the 8 Pot 380 in the front and 6 pot 356 in the back. They still look great though, and definitely an improvement over stock brakes. But the most important thing for me was the functional e-brake and that's what sold me, the e-brake still functions like stock, I was definitely worried about that when I bought the kit, but after the install I was pretty satisfied with it. Pictures don't really do it justice when you receive the kit and open the box and you see how massive the kit is it's the same feeling as opening a new toy at Christmas.

Thanks for that info. I am torn between the 6 pot or the 8 pot combo. I just don't want the 8 pot to be an overkill for the car and make it look to unnatural. Also 6/4 pot combo is a little cheaper.
