Naked Mountain Winery

So the wife and I take the Z up to Naked Mountain Winery this last weekend for their second Wine makers Dinner to see two, other Z4 (E89) there. Almost though it was a Z4 convention as I just done see of our cars on the road. I didn't spend much time trying to see who it was, do know that they were at the dinner. So who were the other Z4 owners, are you guys/gals on the board I wonder?

Can not tell a lie... The white Z4 was my 35i. The black Z4 was a friends 3.0. We were at table 3 and have attended about a dozen wine dinners. I was the person who asked about the dessert. Do you do any of the local (NOVA) cars and coffee get together's?

Speaking of Wineries. Either of you gentlemen know anything about Stone Tower Winery in Leesburg, VA? Was thinking of taking a ride up this weekend...not hijacking your thread...was going to take the Z up there...so still on topic.

Well pleased to meet you. We have a reasonable wine collection, 200+ bottles and have been to a number of wine related events. I went to a Cars and Coffee event when I had my Audi TT, but the Wife and I have't been to any since. Perhaps we, Zpost crew should meet up and do a Z run with perhaps show up to a Car and Coffee en force...

Heard good things about Stone Tower. Daughter went to a wedding there. On my list to try. You beat me out on wine... Only 56 bottles of red (love a good heavy red. zin cab,douro,gsm, etc) and 12 whites. If anyone wants to do a meet at a Nova winery let me know. Wife and I are game.

Thanks for the input Gents! A former colleagues daughter works at Stone Tower, and had gotten a recommendation from him, but maybe he was biased. Will check it out. Any other wineries near by that area to try out?

Usually hit the C&C in the Lotte plaza parking lot by Fairfax circle on Sunday mornings.
