Got my Cobb and smarttop last night

will install it over the weekend until to my dismay on the same day....

Call them up and tell them you want the new one. If they are a good company they'll probably let you do it.

Any legit retailer will swap this out vs selling you an obsolete product. Call the top manager if you have an resistance.

It is only for Subaru and Mazda. And even if there were a BMW V3, the value is in the tune (i.e. the new parameters flashed to your ECU) not in the handheld device.

Vail...I know this thread is a few months old. Did you ever get the new Cobb AP3? I got mine and had issues installing the tune. I finally installed it but the AccessPort went straight to installing the Cobb OTS tune without backing up the OEM ECU map. Now when I tried to uninstall it, it can't read the OEM ECU map that suppose to be backed up prior to the install (since this didn't happen). I did write to Cobb about this and so far they are investigating why it didn't back up the OEM ECU map first prior to installing the Cobb tune. Just wanted to know if you have the same issue if you got the new AP3.
