E89 Z4 DCT Differential Upgrade Recommendations (gearing and LSD)

I broke the input shaft on my differential after wheel hop at the drag strip. I need to replace the diff and wanted to get recommendations on gear ratio change and LSD experience. I am going to install RR600s so I am expecting 600rwhp and am not sure if it is needed or worth it to upgrade. I can get a used diff for $675 but it looks like upgraded diffs are $3000 or more.

Appreciate feedback and others' experience.

im running 606whp.
I'll be purchasing the mfactory LSD with 3.08 final drive. i dont have it yet, so i cant comment personally. but i have a friend here in town that runs the same LSD on his 750whp BMW, and he loves it. his car trapped 169mph at no fly zone.

i have not. I ended up doing more cooling (FMIC/radiator) and installing coilovers instead. i will eventually though. maybe in the fall.

Did BMW equip the DCT cars with an LSD from the start? Did the Z4 not get the diff from the E92 M3 along with the transmission?

No LSD. In fact a welded diff - a gift from BMW which means you'll spend $2k+ to solve that problem as it is expense to include the machining necessary to remove the welds.

Slightly off topic. I have the chance to get a fully built 335 6mt dif for very cheap. Will this work with my dct?
