I'm thinking B or C. But if you want to really get classy, you should match the wheel color with the roll bar covers and splitters.

i'd keep it stock. painted wheels just remind me of ricers. painted wheels for track days are ok but daily driving is not for me. each person have their own taste. thats just my opinion

yes i understand it is not a popular color. People think it would work better on the 7 series. I like the color because it was one of the few that really showed the lines of the car. I looked at red, blue and black. I also looked at gray and it too showed the lines well but I dont like gray for some reason. I couldnt find an Alpine white one which would have been cool so voila i got the OS. I like it. Also for your information the color does come on the 7.

I like those wheels, however, when I go back to a Z4 it will have the Alpina Classic 19 inch turbine wheels with the three dimensional sweep in each of the 20 spokes. I know they will be a pain to clean then that be half the fun I think they will look super with the Z4 in any colour

Oh I voted "Stock" for colour

Red interior on orion silver makes the car look very sophisticated indeed! I really like this rare color combo, especially on a z4 with the roof down! However, since I strongly prefer the wood trim, I had to go for beige myself. The only problem with beige is that it is too similar to the orion silver color, so they don't bring anything out of each other. You cannot see this from the inside or outside with the roof up, but this is a car meant to look its best with the roof down! I think blue is slightly better with beige/wood, but then there is the problem with the 35i front (grille color etc) which blends better with orion silver... no perfect combo with the wood trim as starting point then.

OK OK its all subjective, but objectively I do not think this poll is useful, because you cannot see the problem with the wheel and exterior color combo from the pictures. The actual problem is that the OEM wheels, in lack of better words, "out-shine" the orion silver color... you just cant see that from the pictures shown here.

From the pictures I want to vote A, but I think, IRL, I would prefer B or C...

My 2009 was that colour with black interior ... I loved it when I saw it in the BMW museum on May 9th 2009 it was the official showing in Germany at Die Welt and they had a brand new one in the museum as well in Orion Silver. Interior was black, however, the Fox Red looks very nice.

If I get another Z4 it be white and red interior .... time will tell. One thing for sure no 296 wheels

It's not Fox Red. It's that orangey Coral Red. If they offered a true red interior, I'd have gotten that with a black exterior in a heartbeat.

The reason I voted stock is that I've found that is that the paint owners apply will chip and peel and really cheapen the look of the car.

If you are going to change the color, powdercoat them and put on a clearcoat to make it look OEM. Check out a 911 with the factory black wheel option. That's a great look.

Having had 2 cars with Coral Red interiors, I don't think it is orangey at all. I liked the color so much that my sofas are the same color

I choose 'F' because they look great and notice that high-end cars like the McLaren 12C have that option for darkened wheels. Stock is alright but just too plain-vanilla for me. Anything in between ('B' to 'E') appears more like the wheels are dirty.

EDIT: this is assuming that the paint won't wear off the wheels, or else it'll look nasty. GL w/ your choice.
