passenger seat X279 wiring diagram
Hi, does anyone have a wiring diagram for heated/electric seats for a retro-fit I am trying to do? I have a 09 E89, and I originally had manual/non heated seats, so am having to add the wires to make it work.
I've got the drivers seat working fine. memory/electric movement/heating, but these use a "seat module" on KCAN, whereas the passenger has a "heated seat module" controlled by a PWM circuit from the JBE. I've seen lots of threads on the E90 X279 connections but I am not totally sure that they are correct for the E89 as my seat connector has more male pins than those would suggest are required. I currently don't have anything connected to pin 8 and pin 9 despite the male terminals being in the seat connector (and not required based on the E90 diagram) I've cabled what I think I need - electric/bolsters work fine, but I can't get the heated seat to work. I've coded CAS/FRM 494 for electric seats but the passenger heated switch doesn't illuminate when pressed. If anyone is aware I need to do something else coding wise, that would be useful, but I think its purely a wiring issue now. Does anyone has access to the wiring diagram for an E89 X279 connector, or could tell me where to look that would be great. thanks. |
