Ingredients are fresh and a they have a unique flavor. I wouldn’t compare them to McDonalds Wendy’s or Burger King, not in the same zone.
We have 5guys and Smashburger, not impressed with them even though they are better than the above fast food.

I use to go to Vegas for work once a year and always loved stopping at In And Out. However last years I was in CA for a few weeks and tried it there and while it was good I wasn't blown away. We use to have What a burger in Orlando which was really good but that's gone.

However I have discovered my new ultimate fast food burger spot... Culvers. Never heard of them till we were up in NC and SC and started seeing them everywhere. Awesome burgers better than In And Out and Five Guys, their milkshakes are amazing also. Luckily I found out they just opened one in Port St Luice which is an hour away from me but I'm up there frequently.

Tell me another restaurant you can get a burger for $2.40 and use completely fresh ingredients. In-N-Out isn't the best burger joint that ever existed, but it definitely is high-value given it's price.

We have Culver’s all over here in Chicago. They are fantastic burgers. But my top top top burger? Portillos. A-MAZING.

That said, I absolutely love In-n-Out. Definitely ranks up there as one of my favs as well.

I'm on mobile so i can't see your location but I'm guessing cali? Only way you could overhype that overrated shit. If not my bad.. but better burgers can be had for the same price elsewhere.

Culver’s in Colorado is absolute garbage. Chic fil a likes to use lots of chemicals additives so they can stuff it.

I see they have a couple in Tampa, have to check it out when I pass by the area. Burgerfi has decent burgers also, I put it at about the same level as 5 guys.

The original restaurant that Burgerfi was spun off from is by my house and they make a good "fancy" burger. However the thing is when I'm craving a burger I don't want those fancy burgers with brioche buns and 4 different kinds of cheeses and all that crap. I want "fast food" burger!

I've been to Burger Fi near my house and Shake Shack down in Boca. Burgers were nearly identical down to the tray they were served on. Both pretty good. The problem to me with these places and five guys is that they are good only once in a while. If I ate at any of them weekly or even 2x/month, I think I'd get sick of them.

There is something about watching a chick freshly squeeze your potato into a bowl and toss it in the fryer though . . .

I wouldn't know. I don't ever eat fast food. If I do, I go to The Habit. I don't know how much those cost. Probably more since I get the bacon BBQ burger.

You can make a better burger at home and the fries suck, but I can see why some people like it. Their burgers taste fresher than most other fast food places and it's affordable.

Would have been a nice option when I lived in CO. Whenever I go to California to cisit relatives I hit up an InNOut just so not to waste the opportunity, but ultimately I like Five Guys better.

Both have their place. There's one of each a few blocks from my house. I've been known to get an Animal style InO burger and Whataburger fries.

Whataburger is one of the reasons living in Texas is the best. In n Out is good, not gonna lie, but it's not better than Whataburger, IMO. I agree that In n Out is in a league above McDonald's, Wendy's, and BK. No doubt. When I am out in CA or in Vegas, In n Out is my default fast food burger. We just got Shake Shack here and I have already fallen in love.
