Thanks! I wish I could enjoy it, I'm in Deutschland until December 6th.....

But Cologne reminds me of San Francisco with New York City type weather (fallen leaves, cold, and rainy).

Be sure to go to the train station right by the Dome there is a stand that makes "Potato Pancakes" the Russian style (deep fried) have 2 or 3 with a beer or two as an evening meal unless you already did that

If you come from the Dome, down the steps you see it or if you come from the Hauptbanhof (train station) it is straight ahead. You cannot miss it.

I do it every 3 to 5 years when I go home ... and do enjoy your car whe you do get home

I will definitely have to try those Potato Pancakes. I will have to check that out sometime this week when I go to the station to exchange US dollars. I'm not accustomed to having cash on hand. Most places around here don't accept credit cards. The problem is, the majority of us Americans are so spoiled by credit cards...lol. On another note, I've already seen three E89 Z4s here. They were all de-badged two DSB and one black. I could tell they were not 35i.

I'll be heading to Munich on either 18th or 19th. Looking forward to going to the Welt. Hope there is no appointments or reservations necessary for that.

You best have cash on hand for the Potato Pancakes and the beer As for Die Welt, no reservations required. The hours of operation are 9 am to 6 pm for the Die Welt. You best make reservations for the museum and the factory tour if you like to take one. All in all you require about one day to see all three. When I was there in May 2009 I seam to recall that Die Welt was closed on Sunday. You best check it out.
