A few mods

Had my car for three weeks started doing a few mods, changed the rims and got rid of the RFT's also changed the front grills, some carbon fiber mirror caps. Still a long way to go, waiting for eibach springs, carbon splitters and stubby aerial. Had lots of inspiration from this great forum.

You can find them on eBay if you're ok with non-OEM. They fit just fine.

The kidney grills are actually very easy to take off. You don't really need to use picks or screwdrivers to undo any tabs. All I did was hold the grill slats with both hands, pull downward and pull out. They pop right out - no broken tabs.

As Moo says Ebay for the mirror caps $95 plus shipping, the grills came out quite easily, just be careful not to pull them with to much force.

My latest Mods

Thought I would post some pics of my latest mods, got some splitters and color coded them, also had the two small black uprights on the lower grill sprayed, changed the wheels and fitted H&R springs, fitted some alloy pedals, fitted a stubby and de badged.

Lookin Good.
Love the drop and Wheels.
Whose Wheels and size?
Splitters- Are those the urethane or Carbon Fiber. Assume stick on with 3M tape? I like them the body color. I may have to re-think them as a mod as I was not sold on them being Black or CF.
I too painted my, as you stated, the Uprights on the lower grill and the inserts across the outside lower grills my Space Grey color with Clear coat.

Thanks for the good comments, the wheels are M5 reps 19X8.5 front and 19X9.5 rear with 35 offset all round, I'm running 10mm hubcentric spacers in front. The splitters are the carbon fiber ones off Ebay, I always intended to color code them as the black makes the front look to busy. They are easy enough to fit, as you say some 3M tape and I used some silicone along the front edge to keep them as flush as possible.

Looks great, unfortunately my car is not an M sport, which would mean having to change the bumpers to accommodate the kit.
