Hello Im looking to get my 2013 Z4 key programed to open convertible top any help on this would be great

Look into iCarly. It will offer dozens of coding options for your car as well as reading and resting code faults and displaying performance parameters.

Shouldn't the key already open the top by default?

(Maybe this is just a Comfort Access feature ??)

Yes just CA. But the feature buried in the car's system and can be activated by coding.

Speaking of key programming. Has anyone gotten their Z4 to auto start like some of the newer BMW's. I know if you hit the lock 3 times on some models the car starts up.
