Need help with tire specs

Am about to purchase winter tyre setup. Found an ad but he doesn't know if these will fit the Z4. Can it be confirmed somehow if these tires goes with my car? The 225/45-17 is correct, but will the bolts line up with the holes?

what you need to know is the bolt pattern, wheels offset is another factor to consider.

The bolts should line up as its 5x120 - educated guess based on the numbers posted on the ad. Et 47 is the one that I'm not sure

Those wheels are Style 106 and used on E85 Z4 17x8 wheels. Although I didn't find the ET on these, other 17x8 wheels used on the E85 were ET47. The E89 ET is 29.

Talked to the guy. He said they were original on a Z4 -2009, so they should fit?

Edit: Just found this, says it fits E89:

If this site is complete and correct, that is not true. http://www.bmwstylewheels.com/

The web page you show above is the only reference that shows it was available t=for an E89, but every other source find shows this wheel is for E 85/E86. Have the seller confirm the ET. If its ET47, E85 and ET29 is E89.

Found a forum where a guy put my current rims (326) on his E85. He says they fitted right on? http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=36232

Those are E85 wheels but they will work just fine if you don't care about staggered wheels

The offset on these wheels should not protrude out any further than your current rear wheels do.

I don't mind that much. I don't have to look good in the winter As long as it fits, dont hurt the car or drives like crazy, I'm good. The E89 Z4 offset is ET29 front and ET40 rear. I guess the rear will be quite ok, but the front? Is it too much difference?

Install a 225/45R17 tire or smaller profile and it should be fine.

The guy was nice to let me try them on before purchase, and I'm glad to say they fitted perfectly. It's tight in the front, I have maybe 1½-2 cms to spare, but it never touches even with maximum wheel "spin". Don't know the word for that

So all is good !
