Thumbs up Evolution Racewerks N54 Carbonfiber Engine Cover

The FedEx lady came to my doorsteps today to drop off my ER N54 Carbonfiber Engine cover today. I AM SPEECHLESS!!!! This cover totally changed the look of my engine bay. I had custom vinyl decals cut out and ordered BMW emblems to complete the oemish look to the cover. The install was quite easy. Remove the old engine cover which took about a minute. Removed the pads inside the old engine cover and add it to the new cover which took another 2 minutes. All in all it was about a 4-5 minute job. The fitment was a 10 out of 10 with no flaws. The quality of the ER Carbonfiber Engine Cover alone is a 10 out of 10. Expect nothing less than perfect when ordering from Evolution Racewerks

List price is $249.00 which is pretty good for a quality cover like this.

Thanks for the info. I put mine on without the pads two months ago. I will now put them on. The first cover I got from them had a strange impression all over the gloss surface. I called them and they sent a new, perfect one out right away. I have to agree that it makes a great
difference.

Grade A carbon fiber weave - WTF - is that kind of like extra large eggs?

If you can't baffel them with brilliance, beffudle them with bullshit.

Nice cf cover, but the only thing I don't like is the big free advertisement of a company, the one on the cover is just humongous. That's just me, it's like placing stickers all over your car back in the Honda days.

The display at the ER website doesn't show that. Did the OP order that specifically?

When u buy the carbon cover it's plain no decals or emblems. I took the leisure of applying the decal and adding the emblem to give me engine bay more contrast

speaking of beautifying the engine bay, does anyone have a suggestion for a product to use to clean and detail?

Looks nice!

Maybe you can get a CF airbox and snorkel to match it up and add more bling bling?

Hi Vail, yes it comes without the logo and without BMW emblem. I just added the logo and BMW emblem to give my engine bay a little bit more contrast. =)

Bought this on Ebay two months ago from Bayspeed Aero new fit $680. It does not have a logo on it,just a raised area where one can be used if you want. The fit is not the best. Sections must be put together with holes you have to drill and screws you must supply.
