4 Motors Non M Sport Rear Bumper diffuser

Has any one purchased and installed this CF rear diffuser for a Non M Sport Rear Bumper?

Also installed with standard stock exhaust vs Quads.? Pictures? Quality of the CF and over part?

You Do have to cut the bumper which I am ok with.

I am looking for a Rear diffuser made of Carbon Fiber for standard/stock rear bumper and maintaining my stock exhausts.

Here is the link.

get what you pay for. Its from China, though Chinese products aret bad, unknown branded Chinese products for that low a price seem to be a red flag.

This.

Can't speak for that item specifically but,
1) Directly from China
2) Selling on eBay (some made-in-China products are legit - but from China on eBay?)
3) Super cheap - Makes you wonder if it's even real carbon fiber at that price
For reference... A real CF spoiler (that dinky little thing) runs you $700-$800. A real CF diffuser will run you $1.5k. This is half the price of a spoiler.

With that said... it's not a direct plug-n-play so if you are cutting the bumper, making it fit even if it has poor fitment shouldn't be too much of a problem (unless it's grossly off). Secondly, I'm sure it will look fine/look like real CF, whether or not it is actual CF and you get the benefits/weight reduction of it is another story.

Lastly, you mentioned sticking with stock exhaust. That appears to be for quads, and if you are only doing dual, you'll have a huge gap between the tips, not sure how that would look...
If you do end up getting it though, please do share.

All great points, hence my inquiry looking for anyone with any experience with this company and product.
I am not into spending $405 with shipping for very poor quality and would rather not have the part.
However on the other end, I also will not spend $1800 for the 3D units. Ridiculous.
This is one of the unfortunate aspects about owning a very low production sports car.

It's ebay, you get a refund if product doesnt match sellers description. I'd say go for it. Simple.

My hunch is that this "CF" diffuser from china is plastic with a CF-looking sticker over the top. It's too cheap.

It is very expensive to ship to china with delivery verification. Like really expensive. Don't do it.

Good luck with that. That's all I will say.

Actually, eBay policy is that buyer pays shipping regardless of who is at fault (wrong item, not as described, etc.) unless otherwise stated, it's just that most sellers will cover the return shipping if it is their own fault to keep business... being as this is a seller from China, who knows. Looking at the Return details though, it states that buyer pays shipping for returns.

With that said... if you pay through PayPal, PayPal and eBay almost always sides with the buyer (makes eBay a terrible place to sell expensive items because of scammers - personal experience, story for another time). So, if you were to open a claim/case, you will most likely win. You'll still have to pay shipping back though... unless seller says you can keep the item, which is doubtful but a possibility. In other words, if you buy it, plan to keep it. At $300, the hassle might not even be worth the cost (especially if you'll be eating the initial $80 to ship it to you, then probably another $100 to ship it back... you're down to $200).

i dont know this item but ive had previous dealing buying something like this. and if you dont expect the fitment to be 100%. it actually isnt too bad of a deal.

the stuff they make this out of is glass fiber. with a layer of carbon fiber on the outside. glossy and shiny like the real deal. fitment to be expected at 95% fit.

if its just a diffusor i cant see ot going too wrong to be honest. but you will have to cut a piese for quad exhaust tip even for the real 3d diffusor, so its not exactly reversable if shit doesnt work out.

up to you OP, id say go for it.

Like I mentioned above, because of this install require cutting, even if the fitment isn't exact (unlike bumpers that require 100% fitment because of plug and play) you have wiggle room to make it fit, unless it is grossly off proportions.

However, what Army_Men said does confirm my suspicion that at this price, there is no way it is real CF, but instead nothing more but a CF wrap. You still get the visuals of it though if that is what you are going for.

I've bought quite a few items from this seller for my Z3 and Z4, the quality and fitment is pretty good. The items are not genuine CF, but look very close to the real thing once fitted, at a reasonable cost.

Anyone seen a diffuser for a single sided exhaust (aka the 30i)?
