extra parts

Just picked up my Z4 and am loving it. Just wondering what the extra panels in my trunk were for. One looks like it would fit where the skibag pass through compartment is even though there is already a panel there. Then there are three smaller, maybe 8" x 4" or 20cm x 10cm. Not exactly sure what they are for.

That is for the pass-through storage area. If you replace the panel that has the ski bag attached to it with the flat one, you can then put those 3 shelves in the slots and have extra storage in the pass through.

Can you cover this in more detail? Are you saying that if you have ZCW, you get these additional panels and can remove the panel w/the ski bag and put these in instead? Is this a one-way move, in other words can you go back and forth between the ski bag option and this or is it a permanent decison once you remove the ski bag? Thanks.

The "Cold Weather Package" includes the "Through Loading System" (integrated bag) as well as a "Storage Package," which adds the convenient storage compartment to interchange with the loading system. The "Storage Package" is not included in the "Through Loading System' option.

It's not listed as an option, but am sure dealer parts service could order for someone interested

This would be "Storage compartment package (S493A)"

Install from the back [lower edge first] and make sure both top clips fully seat or everything in there will spill out into the trunk. Can be removed in under 10 seconds and the Ski bag re-installed

"1" is the Ski bag assembly, shown without the bag
"4" is the frame installed in the car and not removable
