wheel expert here
I like to know what thickness of spacers i will need if I want to use my wheels from the 135 to the Z4.
typical ET on the 135 is 45. I dont know the offset on the Z4. VMR wheel told me that i would need a 10mm spacer all around. thanks |

If both are of 45 et I would get 18mm spacers front and 8mm rear.
If you cannot find hubcentric spacers in 8mm or 9mm get a set of 10mm for the rear. Test fit them to see if the tire rubs your inner plastic liner (which is rather probable but not sure) and test fit that 10mm on the front too to see how it looks if 18mm sounds extreme at the moment. Running myself 18mm on an 8,5J et 44 front wheel and it's just perfect, would easily go out another 2-3mm. |

I recommend you go to the TireRack Site ---> Here And input the data from your 135is Year etc then the Z4 you are thinking about again Year, Model etc, It will provide you with the offset for both then you know the difference and what size spacer you may need. Be aware that BMW does not recommend the use of spacers on your car (many people use spacers, I just don;t know if they use them with cars still under warranty). If you do use spacers then switch to studs and nuts (use lock-tight compound on the stud side that screws into the wheel. Good Luck!
