Hi all,

Finally broke 500 whp on the Z4 stock fueling system with the following mods

Car:

2012 E89 Z4 sDrive35i M-Sport 6MT

Mods:

Kohlefaser Luft-Technik Induction System (by ECS Tuning)
ClutchMasters Twin Disk FX850 Clutch and SMFW
AR Design Catless Downpipes
ER FMIC
ER Chargepipe with ER Tial BOV
2.0" Silicone Inlets
Silicone Outlet
UUC Trans Mounts
Stock Fueling System
E70 Fuel



Max boost was 22 psi with 12*-14* degrees of advance timing on E70 fuel

The goal was to break 500 whp with as less boost as possible, and reasonable advance timing based on MBT. Some cars maximum brake torque (MBT) will be lower. No two cars are the same.


Another Z4 member with with DCT hit 479 whp just recently that will soon be in the 500 club also



Both cars are running stock fueling system with no issues

I am looking forward to having you tune my car, which is similar to yours. We'll have a full custom exhaust with high flow cats only in the mid-pipes. Progress has been slow with all the little nuances of the Z4 ... I'd guess mid-September.

Thanks for posting this - very encouraging and look forward to where we land with my car.

very impressive figures ! , I'll bet it feels immense on the road ? any traction issues ?

The power comes on progressively to minimize wheel spin. I have AS3 tires they hold very well

Here is a vbox time but temps were hot in the mid 80s. Keep in mind Im 6MT not DCT.



It is definitely a 7 second car in 100 -200 kph in the right weather.

Very nice work!! Looks like you found the sweet spot to max tune stock turbos! 500whp on stock turbos is smoking fast, I know I was the first in that club
