Nice numbers! Did you happen to do any comparisons between the ECS airbox and the AFE sealed box?

I did do a review onthe aFe sealed box on my DCT 335is http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=686476

The ESC Air box is being tested on my Z4 35i MT . Since I am using the same dyno the numbers should be accurate.

Cool, thanks. I was going to get the AFE one until I saw this thing. I will perhaps wait for your impressions. I imagine the power will be comparable, but your overall thoughts between the two in terms of sound, fitment, and appearance would be greatly appreciated.

In fact I use bother COBB and MHD. COBB I use as a flasher, and MHD as a logger/monitor (while doing live tuning with ATR on the streets etc) and for diagnostics
What are you thoughts about the N54 injector tables being discovered. Are you going to be able to incorporate this in your tuning and do you see this as an opportunity to not have to use PI or upgraded LPFP in high hp E85 applications.

Yes it will be incorporated but will of course be on the MHD side, COBB will not have the ability to incorporate those table. Furthermore the injector tables will obviously be beneficial for those with upgraded turbos looking to go beyond 22 PSI

I doubt seriously we will have to touch those tables on the E89 Z4. I personally think the E89 Z4 can put down 600+ on upgraded turbos, inlets @ 21 PSI on E60

Good to know. I have inlets ready to install and I plan to buy either Pure or VTT S2+ hybrids sometime within the next month or so. I will be back in touch to get your help with tuning these new mods. I also bought a N20 TMAP and adapter. I am curious how far the Z4 can be pushed on the stock fuel system. I would love to see 550 to 600whp without any fuel component upgrades.

Not exactly sure other than different LPFP, and the fueling lines are "shorter" obvioulsy due to the chases of the car ie the fuel tank is closer to the engine wich requires less demand of fuel line pressure for fuel delivery.

Garage List
Regardless you will still most likely need an upgrade on the high pressure side for fuel.

Z4 has the walbro 400 pump stock, also no LPFP sensor. Not sure what else.

Good to know. I guess that Steve tested the lpfp and the flow rate is about the same as the Walbro 400. I feel certain that we can run e60 as long as your hpfp is in like new condition.

As soon as ER sends me my stuff that I have been waiting over a month for now, and get my MOTIV Clutch installed, E60 will be the first thing in my tank

I was only able to test up to E50, which is what Lambobimmer is runing now and his fueling system looked exceptionally, and above average, healthy. So I am confident we can run E60

FYI to the MT guys your gonna need a Spec Stage 3+ or MOTIV twin disk SST Clutch if you planing on benefiting from the E60. I toasted my clutch with just E30

For those of you that I have alraedy tuned I have an update for the "Sport On" calibration making it a tad more aggressive if thats what you want just send me an email. Emails are being processed that are in queue

BuraQ. I have Pure turbos in the works, as well as VTT inlets. I also have a N20 TMAP and BMS connector that I will install once I get my turbos on. Hopefully within the next 2 months. I will let you know once I have all of the hardware is installed and you can then start tuning. Are you switching people over to MHD or staying on Cobb.

I also got the VTT inlets (not installed yet) but will be going with the Hexon RR600 or RR650.

What are the differences in the 600/650 vs the 550.

The RR550 uses the orginal CHRA. We capped it out at 30 PSI to redline @ 600 WHP flat on a 6AT

http://www.hexonautowerks.com/produc...?pg=&PdSearch=

The RR600 will be similar to the RR550 in specs but will have upgrade CHRA going deeper into 600+ whp with less boost

The RR650 will be all the above but with upgrade hotside. There is more but undisclosed atm. Projected output should be 700+ around 30 PSI IMO

Just bought a ClutchMaster FX850 twin disk clutch cause I am going to go torque crazy :-)

Received the N54 Clutch Master FX850 Twin Disk Clutch and Flywheel (rated to hold 900+ wtq), transmission mounts and motor mounts, and The UUC Short Shifter Kit. More about this clutch can be seen here http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=366681

I also got the upgrade silicone inlets. Now waiting on the AR Design Catless Downpipes . After all this is done and we beat up on the stock snails for record numbers "again" hopefully there will be some Hexon RR600-RR650 turbos upgrades heading our way by then
