Light Touch Mods for Pre Facelift E89

Hi Guys

Had my black 2010 35i for about a year now and generally really pleased with it. I'm now looking at some light touch (i.e. not big bucks) mods that I can do to improve the look, the performance and the experience but need some suggestions please.

My thoughts so far have been :

- smartTop roof auto raise/lower
- alloy pedals
- hubs and callipers paint-job

No idea where to start on the performance chipping so input would be good. Don't want to go nuts but an extra 40 or so bhp wouldn't hurt I reckon !

Also I'd love to do something about my yellow halos ! Checked out replacement headlight units but they cost a fortune so is there another way ???

Finally I have 19" 296 style wheels which I was thinking about getting a smoke chrome paintjob for. Thoughts ??

Any other ideas welcome but nothing too 'Liberace' please !!

Cheers

Simon

How about black grills, post LCI side marker lights, short antenna and LED bulbs for the halo rings in the headlights?

Welcome!

LCI side indicators, would look good on black.
Then remove badge below as it looks too fussy.
Strange I went from a black grille to silver!
Each to their own.
And locate a spare alloy in case you crack one.
My pet project was/is fitting all the extended lighting my car was missing.

I would recommend Cobb and Wagner front mount intercooler for easy plug and play power. H&R springs /sway bars, maybe Turner Motorsport strut bar for improved handling.

For looks I like silver grill w/ black centers, lci side markers. After that possibly 3D front lip, and trunk spoiler.

I actually opted for an imitation lip from eBay because I couldn't cope with the stress off breaking or losing such a pricey piece of kit.
