2000 Guards Red on double beige 996 Carrera 6MT with factory aero, and after driving it back to OH from TN it has a mere 24,000 miles. Only thing it's getting right off the bat is tint and a new headunit as the factory one is terrible.

Yeah, put it up for sale as a feeler and per typical fashion got lowballed, so worth it to just keep it as a daily driver. Might sell the bike if the right offer comes around, though.

Ax - that is a great choice! I really like the car and I've always been impressed with what I've read about Porsche's reliability (there is some known issues of course, but for the performance they offer, I think they are probably the most reliable performance cars out there).

Do you have a garage or is it only outside parking? Just thinking of the poor soul in winter. Are you going to drive in winter? I've generally heard good things as well about the 6MT transmission Porsche puts in - is it as good as they say?
