Wheel damaged in transit

My Z4 wheel(s) got damaged in transport. The car is sitting at the port, my CA tells me that new wheels have been ordered and will take at least 2 more weeks. I have already been waiting close to 3 mo. At this point, patience is running thin, not to mention, I dont know what else got damaged along with wheel.

Question: Do I wait 2 more weeks and take the delivery, or do I walk away?

Waiting 2 more weeks is an issue for sure, but I cant get over the mental hurdle that the car got damaged and is being repaired. If I am spending $60K, I expect to get a brand new, undamaged, unrepaired, non-refurbished car.

Or, should I ask for an additional discount, given that this is technically not a *Brand New* car anymore.

Just Breathe.
Nothing else will be wrong with your baby. Enjoy thinking how you'll tell and re-tell the stories of anticipation and dissapointment that ended with years of rewarding fun and pride of ownership. The Z4 is such a wonderful experience. You'll be glad you took the extra time to memorize more of the techs and spec writings. Congratulations, you're in your 3rd trimester.

This is not a big issue at all. You have no idea as to how many different people will handle your car from the time it leaves the factory and finally arrives at your local dealership for delivery. Most people will never ever know what was wrong and or had to be fixed prior to handing it over to a customer.

There is certainly no reason to walk away. The dealer put his cards on the table and told you what went wrong. Once the damage has been repaired or rectified and you don't approve of it there are other options open to you so I recommend you wait and see.
