Only fine scratches. One or two passes with a machine buffer and a Meguir's polish.
then alcohol clean and a hand buff with wax.
The man doing the detail did all the work so I dont know exactly which products he used.

I trust him though because he buffed out a deep scratch on my rear boot lid a couple of weeks back. He did about 20 passes with a fine polish, constantly checking the surface temperature and cleaning his buffer pads.
