Z4 Reborn

Treated the old girl to a spa day.
The white leather was starting to look a little sad and I had a few fine scratches.
Now, she looks good as new.

That looks fantastic, but I learned my lesson with light colored leathers with my two previous cars. My current Blue Z4 sports a black leather interior. Hot at times, but way less work keeping it clean.

Do something?
Those are solid gold my friend!
Nohting says I spent way too much money on a car like gold brake discs.

and no, its raining like buggery here today. I was lucky to get two minutes on the driveway to get some shots before it started raining again. I didn't want to do a block run and get it wet and dirty again...

I cleaned my white Napa lather seats a couple weeks ago with leather cleaner/conditioner and a soft brush. It took all of about 10 minutes and the seats look like new again, much like yours.

The "smooth" white Napa leather is very easy to clean, compared to the grainier leathers, in my opinion.

I would definately purchase it again if the opportunity came up.

On a tangent, ya, I don't really like our reg leather...it's so coarse...doesn't even feel like real leather. BMW really cheapened there.

And now into the sixth day straight of constant rain.
Its always summer here.
Just some says are hotter and wetter than others.
Winter is the premium time for the top down in our neck of the woods.
Glorious 20 - 25 degree days, not a cloud in the sky for weeks on end.
SUmmer is all heat and humidity, and the constant threat of a hail storm when you least expect it.

And a thank you to all for the compliments.

I agree. I have the Nevada leather in the X3 - they have no upgrade option as yet.
It really feels plasticy and thin.
I have a lounge made by Lay-Z-boy and the leather on it feels even thinker and stronger than anything in the BMW range.
I feel I can drop a steak knife on the couch and not mark it, but I am scared of how I sit in the Z4 and X3 when I wear jeans in case the rivets make a park.
I know I could get them re-upholstered, but I would prefer it if BMW had some really good leather in the options box.

Looking good Doc!! Nothing better than a shiny beautiful Z4.
Just did the same to my Jet Blcak 35i. Love the deep gloss of the paint. Nice work.

Exactly. I was also thinking that my sofa has better leather than my car seats. I would have expected something comparable.

My wife's Volvo has seat leather that's too die for. Smooth and supple. BMW is def cheaping out in this department.

Personally, I'm grateful to the German cow who sacrificed its only skin for my driving pleasure.

And while we're at it.....sorry I drank your milk and ate your young. It's the whole top of the food chain thing. Not really my fault.
