kw v serious is way too soft if you want to improve the handing and track the car.
I will suggest cks coilover. If you want to stick to kw ,you could switch the spring . |

The KW V1 coilovers will give you the ability to adjust the height of your car with pre-set damping. It's definitely a great choice for an everyday street driven vehicle!

The damper of kw v1 is preset. It is set by the expert of kw, the german said. could anyone brighten me on this? how do kw's engineer know what wheels I am fitting in my car? bmw factory wheel weight can vary a lot across different wheel sizes and wheel model, not to mention if I put aftermath wheels. I put Advan wheels to my car and each of them is at least 9 pounds lighter than the factory 296. Thanks!

With that being said, the V3s are worth the extra money over the V1s. |

And what about quality of V1 and V3, does V3 significantly more durable than V1 or they are the same?

i installed mh kw v3 for two weeks. the rear springs keep making knocking noise. at first, it is on the right, then on the left as well. but after a week, the right makes almost no noise but the left continues. some paint starts to chip off from the spring end at the top, where kw perch is in direct contact with the spring with no rubber in between. the handling is great but the knocking noise is really annoying. i search many discussion forum and i think this is called spring bind, in which the coil of spring hit each other. my shop sad the only solution is to wrap the coil with plastic.
i play around with the compression and rebound setting and it seems kw recommended is the best. i dont track so i think i should have bought the cheaper kw v1. of course, i didnt know aftet trying myself |
