Seems that trying to organize a group buy to optimize export freight is becoming a bit complicated, with a number of unknowns. Can we get some quotes in US $'s for individual direct shipments?

Exclamation Prices and how you can order

In my opinion organizing a group buy seems to be to complicated, to expensive and takes too much time! Furthermore it is too much risk to send the money to a foreign person...

So we decide to ship the parcels individualy!

I have compared shipping rates like promised...

We can offer you the following:

Z4Post member price: 111,93 € net (excluding 19% VAT)
Standard shipping: 80,00 € net (excluding 19% VAT)
total: 191,93 € net (excluding 19% VAT)

191,93 € converted in US-Dollar $ 275,00

As we ship the parcel without VAT you have to pay the american VAT (tax) and an import fee...This differs from state to state

The shipping will take 12-15 days!

No tracking information!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2nd possibility : Shipping Express with tracking Information

Estimated shipping time: 6-8days
Tracking information available!

Z4Post member price: 111,93 € net (excluding 19% VAT)
Shipping express: 150,00 € net (excluding 19% VAT)
total: 261,93 € net (excluding 19% VAT)

261,93 € converted in US-Dollar $ 376,00

The payment can be done via paypal in €.

If you have questions, just feel free to ask

Renι - Thanks for your response and comments, this seems to be a more practical way of handling. Can orders be simply placed through website noting the discount you are offering to Z4Post members?

Just looking at the trunk, a couple of duffle bags or medium-sized carry-on bags would fit.

It just seems like a bigger headache to arrange for this shipment than what it is worth. I've said my piece and I'll not comment further.
I tend to agree as I believe there is some good quality luggage out there that will fit the exact dimentions of the cargo area. I'm starting some research on that now. I fear the group order is a bit risky at this point and I'm not confortable with it personally.

Maybe I am crazy but considering about $300 for custom luggage that fits a $65k car = good buy.

Hey Renι - Have not been able to find "contract form" and available "shipping methods" on your website. Did send you an email, using your site, requesting additional guidance for order placement.

Congrats. Any chance of posting exterior dimensions of the two suitcases (or just one if they are identical)?

Z4 Custom Luggage

I just received my Z4 custom RoadsterBags today - wow! This is quality luggage and I can only wait with anticipation for the sun to come out, here in Belgium, so my wife (it's her car) and I can go touring.

Many thanks to ChuckB, who originally posted the info on this excellent kit. Cheers!

Order process from US via PayPal is very simple. One-day turnaround per vendor. So far seems seamless.

Unsure of what 'must pay US tariffs and taxes' means but waiting to find out. Any clues?

What is the bottom line on the cost including shipping, tax, customs, etc?

Happy New Year.

I believe it simply means that the buyer is responsible for any import duties charged by the US government.

Those of you that have received your luggage, what was the final cost including shipping and any import duties?

I put in an order also - seemed like a reasonable charge for custome fitting bags - same price as noted before - good email follow up and should have the roadster bags in two weeks.

So it looks like three US customers ordered these without having any idea what the customs/duties fees are?
