Am I reading this wrong? No more manual transmission and no more adaptive suspension in the 35i? It might not matter to some, but a manual is a lot of what swayed me to buy BMW.

35i can still come with that adaptive suspension if you buy the M sport package. That's how it has always been. sport or m sport package needed.
Interesting the oil changes are still 15k miles interval while the F30 has moved to 10k miles interval |

It's unbelievable. BMW was always known for its sedans that drove like sports cars. I guess the definition of sports car has changed for most folks. Sad but true.

The configurator on bmwusa.com is already updated ...
Looks like no M Sport package with the new brown exterior ... at least the ivory seats are back & can be configured with other colors (such as the deep sea blue & M Sport). |

the upcoming F80 has some serious weight reduction to bring it down to E46 weight with more torque than prior car, huge brakes and electronic controlled LSD The sports sedan (4 doors, 5 seats) BMW is alive and well, I think... it is sportier than the 2 seater hard top convertible model..... |

Quit complaining
Here at BMWs biggest market you cant even get a 335i sedan without x-drive and 8AT anymore. To get six cylinders and RWD you have to resort to E90s with 6AT from the second-hand market or wait for the F80 which is probably going to be a USD 200k car. And if you want a BMW with MT your only option is to buy a second-hand 1-series M coupe. Currently none are for sale online, but it can be seen that the last one went for over USD 80k with 8k km on the clock. Last edited by Asbjorn; 03-25-2014 at 09:45 AM.. |
