Oil Pressure Gauge

I'm looking to install an oil pressure gauge, sadly lacking on a Z4. I'm looking to use a VDO 360-007 0-80psi oil pressure sender which is combined with an 8.5psi oil pressure switch. It has an M12x1.5 Thread which matches the existing factory oil pressure switch. I plan to replace the factory oil pressure switch with this unit. Does anyone know at what pressure the factory switch is set at? Also the sender is larger than the existing switch. Has anyone made this swap? Does it fit? The space looks pretty confined. Worst case scenario I'll blow $50 and find out.

According to wiring schematic BMW switch grounds circuit when switch closes after sensing oil pressure. This sender close circuit to ground at 8.5psi oil pressure. I've used on other vehicles for same purpose
