Wheel Spacer - 326

Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone has tried any wheel spacers with the 326 wheels? If so please post up some pics.

I just ordered a set of 10mm hub centric spacers to try out. Should have them here tomorrow.

Okay got the spacers installed yesterday. They look good and not too aggressive.

Went 10mm All around. Not sure that I could of gone any more. Maybe 12mm. It is difficult to take a pic showing off the spacers, but here we go :

As a novice with spacers, why do you need them on what looks like stock OEM 326 wheels? Why do the wheels needs to be spaced further out of the wheel well?
I have read on this forum that BMW does not recommend them.
For my education.
Thanx.
