It's nice that you are doing this. Is the motivation to teach English in China due to the fact you are Chinese yourself? Curious as to what the reason is of going all the way to China when there are plenty of ways your skills could be applied in the USA...

He's going to get some strange in China

But I applaud the fact he's willing to "put out" some English lessons in harsh conditions.

Thank you for liking the page, I'm hoping I'll be able to post a little here and there from China, fingers crossed.

As many say, "Age is yet a number, nothing else." I appreciate your response. Thanks!

Hopefully you'll learn something, there's alot you don't know at 15..
You're comment caught me a little of guard, I can't sense whether it's sarcasm or genuine, but then again this is the Internet, so it's hard to assume anything

If it was sincere, I'm sorry if I've offended you in anyway, however I never recall talking to you before. Hmm...

LMAO this is hilarious my friend.

Of course we are in that stage where we all all maturing and become attracted to the opposite gender, but luckily my brain is still in my head as of now loll

Best of luck with your adventures!!! My fiance did something similar but instead of teaching english, she taught basic hygene and medicine in Peru. She lived in the rainforest and slums for 3 months and like you, didn't go back to a cozy hotel. She still speaks about this experience 5+ years later and I can tell that it really changed her outlook on life. Soak up the experience and enjoy, you are doing a great thing.
Wow, three months? And I thought 5 weeks was a long time haha

That must've been incredible, and I'm hoping as well to make the best out of the trip.

Yes, I am part of the F10Crew on Facebook, but that situation was quite a while ago, I took a respite for a few months and joined back recently. I have a few solid personal friends on there, and I think I've come to mature a bit more , so more trouble like before.

Thank you! The flight(s) will be long, but I'll try to catch some sleep and rest up

Thank you, and actually, no, I'm not of Chinese origin. However, it was my Chinese friend, Yixuan, who's mom arranged this event for us through some sort of connection. My father was the one who actually contacted the director however, leading to our involvement in his next documentary.

Yes, age makes us clearly better.

Chill out. I wasn't picking on anyone just asking a simple question. I could go into the details as to why I asked but I'd rather not shit on this thread.

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to give a quick update (thanks to the director, Mr. Wang, for getting us some WiFi for a short while).

Everything is going well here in Huining. The kids are all very kind and generous, and we're having fun. I've been taking lots of videos with the GoPro and am editing them as we speak. To be honest, this is a big change from the comforts of America and there are still some parts that we are adjusting to, but we're making the best out of it.

I've updated our Facebook page ( www.facebook.com/HuiningGate ) with a lot of new pictures, plus our first video. Please do check the page out, and don't forget to give us a Like, and feel free to comment and share with your friends. Thanks again everyone.

Off topic a bit, but have you ever driven a BMW? If you think you're an enthusiast now, wait 'til you do.

How's it going guys? Just wanted to update you all from China. We've had an incredible time visiting two places (a local town and a fully remote village) here in Huining, and must I say these three weeks have been eye-opening. Now our teaching has ended, and the sightseeing part begins in the next few days.

Again, please go check our Facebook page for a boatload of pictures, some videos, many posts, etc. and show us some support. Big thanks again.

www.facebook.com/HuiningGate or search for Huining Gate - 会宁县的门 : The Experience of a Lifetime on Facebook.

Well, although I won't get my permit till this November, I have driven my parent's BMW on private property. And it's no M3, but 500hp is a lot of fun to do donuts in!
