Very nice selection! For the Opus X, you may want to have a meal beforehand-it definitely can some strength and a nicotine punch. Liga Privada 9 is a very good stick. The La Aroma is great too. You've got some nice sticks!

We had our Marine Corps birthday ball on friday so I brought out my sharing humidor. WOW these sticks were dry! I had one of my H. Upmanns that was in a travel humidor case and was good, then a Man-O-War Virtue that was bone dry. I was able to trade someone a Graycliff for a Cuban Montecristo though.

So I went down too Portland OR over the weekend and came back with these.

This years tatuaje Halloween editions, a davidoff Nicaragua robusto too try, a new camacho triple maduro, I had their older version of a triple maduro but not this one. And a monster 80 ring gauge asylum!
My buddy and I smoked one at a bar down there, took us about 3 hours too finish it!!

Also picked up a full box of tatauje Halloween 2013 and a box of tatauje cojonu 2003.

I looked around for the old man and the C from tatuaje but no one had it
I was disappointment about that.

80 ring!? Holy crap! I think the biggest I've had was a 60 and it was a long smoke. How did you even cut that?

Gotta use a punch. Those things are ridiculously big when you see one.

They look like something cheech and chong would smoke, well minus the tobacco of course.

I'd be interested to see how it tastes.

Nice!!!!! 80 sounds ridiculous! Haha. My B&M sells those too. Nice 2003s. Good smoke. And nice score on the Halloweens! Are those the Jason ones? Let me know how they are.

Tonight I went for a smoke at my B&M and the girl working there says "Guess what I have for you! These just came in!" We walk into the humidor and she pulls a box on the top shelf hidden from sight and I end up scoring these bad boys. Some Arturo Fuente Anejo #77s/Sharks.

And she is awesome and knows my tastes and recommended me a nice pick to smoke in the lounge tonight. A Padilla Reserva Maduro Toro. A nice rich stick with delicious flavors. Immediately got hit with a nice rich coffee flavor once lit. Just nice flavors of coffee, chocolate and nuts. Got some leather like and woody flavors towards the end but still finished up with that nice coffee taste. Really nice rich flavors. I'm definitely picking up more as those Sharks are going into the aging humidor. Well, I may have one soon. Too good to resist.

I asked the guy at the shop too cut it for us. In my head I'm thinking he's gonna need a pair of scissors for this. But nope, he was able too do it with his cutter

Got my bovedia packs and plastic tupperware in for my cigars finally. Pulled everything out for a quick inventory and photo before putting them in the tupperware. I'm a little pissed though because I thought this thing would be air tight and it definitely is not. I'm not sure how much this will effect the cigars getting re-humidified, but I'll just have to wait and see.

Here is everything laid out. The top row are sticks i reserve for myself, and the bottom is my sharing selection. Everything on the top row from the left to the box are cuban.

Here is everything in the tub. I had to use all 4 Boveda packs because it was still staying pretty dry with only 2.

I agree! My personal favorites along with the 1964 series. It's crazy how they make other good smokes seem, well, ordinary.

For sure! I can't help too think a lot of people around my parts are missing out on great cigars like the ones from pardon. Everyone goes for anything Cuban here and passes on great non Cubans like pardons. There 45 is a master piece!!

any recent purchases?

My sticks are still in the tupperware getting rehumidified. The 84% Boveda packs I put in my humidors dried up pretty quick and it looked like each humidor never went abov 75%. I ordered another 4 set of the 84% packs for the humidors and figured once those are dried up the humidors should be good for the cigars.

On a lighter note the 69% packs I put in the tub are still pretty lively and its been staying around 70% in there. I open it once a week, fan the air out and put the lid back on to keep the air fresh inside.

I've also noticed my two identical Xikar hygrometers dont give the same readings while being in the same humidor at the same time. I've tried calibrating them together, but still get a 2-3% difference. What kind of hygrometers do you guys use?

Bump!

It's been awhile, has anyone gotten some new sticks?

My B&M got 2 of these bad boys and my favorite salesperson put one of them aside for me. She rocks!
