front is just double sided tape

The rear reflectors have a metal clip from behind, PLUS 2 plastic molded clips on the reflector, PLUS a molded hook on the reflector. I'm guessing the exhaust/muffler heat wouldn't allow a double sided tape application.
Anyhow, here's a pic of mine after I removed the rears and then cut out the molded backing behind the reflectors. I have some black grille material that I may use. Anyhow, you can use this to either like or dislike painting your rear reflectors. I'm a bit of an enigma since my M5 doesn't have reflectors, but I put reflectors ON my M3, see pic, and now I've cut out my Z4 reflectors. ha.

Kinda funny that you did a 180 on the color combo (from dark blue outside/white inside to white outside/dark inside) ... which one do you prefer? Or do you like both equally?

Any pictures of the DSB with the top up? I have one on order (w/ white interior) and am curious to see how it looks with the tinted windows you seem to have, as I'm looking to do the same thing.

i really like the black rear diffusor on the 35i with M Sport Package. i think it looks more sporty. why the 35is have to have exterior matching diffusor?

My mom did that lol

The Z4 is primary her car as I drive the M, but I take the Z4 for out for around the town trips (better on gas, easier to park since it's smaller, N54 is a better DD than the S65)

Actually white on black was one of our least favorite choices, but with almost no Z4s left... we settled.
For us, the options (DCT prem nav CA heated seats etc) were more important than the color

What we wanted was Space gray with Red Interior, or BSM with Red, or even White on Red, or any of those colors with Beige interior or something...anything but black interior :/
We aren't a fan of black interiors as it's boring... (I have Fox Red in my M3)
I do really like White with M sport, I just wish the interior was red or beige or something :/. I love white cars (E93 335i was AW, M3 is Mineral White)

But it is what it is. At least the black is easier to maintain lol. The White Nappa was a pain in the ass and pretty bad IMO (though others said it was clean...they never saw it when it was 'really' clean lol)

Don't know but I love the M Sport
