Voice commands
According to the manual on page 178 there is a voice phone book in iDrive equipped cars. You are supposed to say 'Save name' then speak the name. The system is then supposed to ask for a phone number. After saying that you are supposed to say 'Save'. Well I can not get this to work for the life of me. I'm trying this with the ignition on in my garage. So outside noise should not be an issue at all. Every time I say 'Save name' it goes to the settings dialog. I can use voice commands to go to the phone book and dial a name from there. So what's the deal with this supposed voice phone book? Has anybody gotten this to work?
