Fuse 27 supplies the controller, check this first.

Those two wires look like the footwell lights, correct wire colours

Does it light up when the lights are on?
Could be the plug underneath come loose.

I checked underneath and connected it and disconnected it. I'm going to check if it lights up at night I haven't notice about that.

Hmm

OK, so you've only got 4 wires going to it. Pins 1 (red with white) & 2 (Brown with black) are the power, straight 12v fed from fuse 27. So although you've checked the fuse I'd suggest checking you've actually got 12v at the pins. If you haven't then check continuity for pin 2 (ground) with any other ground point, or simply check voltage between pin 1 and another ground point.

Pins 3 (Orange with green, can high) and 4 (green, can low) are the k-can bus wires. Checking the wire voltage here is a little more complicated, so I'd suggest going for a fault code check at this point.

Thank you Im going to try this today and check for continuity from where the idrive goes connected.

So I checked the pins volage and Im getting 13 to 14v. Also I scan the car and I did get this code:
The fault code A559 is related to the battery charge of your BMW vehicle12. It means that terminal 30 was shut down due to low battery charge2. If you see fault code 00a559, it is an indication that the instrument cluster is failing or has already failed, and you will need to replace it3. You can monitor your battery and charging system voltage by using Submenu 9.00 in "Hidden Menu"

Scanner says close cir current cutoff relay. Code A559
