Just got my 35is, got a few questions

1. Does the side mirrors have auto turn down function when you switch into reverse?
2. is it me or is there kinda a delay or slack when picking up from D1 with the DCT?
3. Loud air sucking noise compare to 335i when accelerating?
4. there is a noticeable mechanical Noise when putting on hand brakes which can be heard when you are next to the car?

1. Yes. Just like any other BMW when the side selection switch is set to adjust the left mirror.
2. When I put mine in first there is no delay, but then it is a MT
3. Never really noticed any sucking sound on my 35i.
4. Normal noise. An electro-mechanical actuator is pushing the hydraulic piston on the caliper to activate the e brake.

Mine doesn't suck either.

No air sucking noise on my 35is either.

The awesome exhaust / engine sound is too loud to hear the intake!

Check airbox latches are all secure. Perhaps it is normal and you are not used to a boosted car which will produce this sound more obviously with an open filter intake eg DCI setup.

Also for NO lag you need to engage Sport+ mode with Manual on the DCT. It's all in the software programming.

D will naturally have lag as it is programmed to be more shall we say 'gentle'.

I'll be in HK in less than 2 weeks ...can't wait!
