Nomenclature gaffes...
Quote:
Why doesn't BMW marketing get back to simpler naming - naming the cars for what they are. 330i (3-litre rwd sedan) 335Cxi (turbo 3-litre Coupe with xDrive), Z4 3.5i, 740dx, 535d, X5 3.5i, 130i (see - you know EXACTLY what drivetrain is in the cars without spoon-feeding or marketing-speak...) PLUS, there would be less goofy "sDrive" or "xDrive" badging on the cars detracting from their excellent beauty. |

the naming conventions are nutty....
Looks lik ethis will be the "look" of the "is" versions of the Z, 3, and 1 i believe there was a story about the 1is... siver mirror caps... M badgeing I mirror above sentiments, M for M cars only (and I dont drive an M) ~Frost

The only thing I like about the this car is the front bumper, wheels, and of course more power/performance. The rear looks too busy, IMO. Looks as if they are matching the silver mirrors with the bumper piece and grill, but has gotta go. And the name is getting longer and annoying: sDrive35is. Why not "M" already.
