Switching DCT From "M" To "S" Mode?

When transmssion is in "D" mode you can interupt with a manual shift, where it switches to "M" mode and then returns to "D" if you do not continue shifting manually.
When you place shifter in the "M/S" mode it switches to "S" where a manual shift then moves it to "M" mode and remains there.
Is there any other way to return to "S" other than moving shifter back to "D" then to "M/S" again?

Not that I know of. I seldom use S. Once I go M I never go back for that drive.

Richard - Thanks for your feedback. When I'm feeling a bit lazy, like the way the car behaves in "S" mode, but when I over-ride with a downshift, then reverts to "M" mode. Just looking to see if there's an easier path back to "S."

No other way - anyway, 'click/click' and you're back in sport quick as a flash.....

The same applies to most BMW autos.
