OK... this is a good question and 98.34% serious. What is the difference between a Persian and an Iranian? I always thought it was just that Iran used to be called Persia, but I never researched it and I sense it is deeper.

Is "Iranian" like a nationality or a connection to place, while Persian is an ethnicity or a race, like a genetic thing instead of a geographic thing.

Or, alternatively, does it just sound more exotic and less terroristy so the Persians like it, and Kim K is one so the Iranians like that she she call herself Iranian.

I've always been confused by this as well. I think one of the differentiators is speaking Farsi and the other might be religion.

Persian i thought was an ethnicity. Iran is just a made up border I thought.

First: wtf. I always wondered why spam still exists. Spam? Really?
Second: I always love it when someone says something like "Mexican food, for breakfast? Weird." Or whatever non-"American" food. I'm always like, you do know that those are ethnicities and people there eat in the morning too, right. "Chinese", "Mexican", etc are not just food preparation techniques - they are whole cultures of people who do, actually, require breakfast from time to time.

I haven't eaten spam in years - I can't remember the last time - maybe a spam musubi at a golf course, a game which I retired from about 4-5 years ago.

Didn't want to make anything crazy for breakfast so I saw eggs and spam (do not know how/when/why the spam got into the pantry).

It's good once in a while - around 5 years.

SPAM is war torn country food. You know those US military care package air drops? 1000% they have spam in them even today haha
