Received my IND painted reflectors in Black Sapphire today. So here is my little write up on how to install them.
What you need. 1. 8mm socket wrench 2. Small screwdriver 3. Hairdryer or heatgun 4. Wife asleep so she doesn't notice you using her hairdryer. Turn your wheel all the way to the right so you have access to the fender liner and to the (3) 8mm screws located there. You will see/feel them on the outer edge. Remove them. Simple enough. Once the 3 screws are removed you can pull the fender liner back enough to gain even more access to the back of the reflector. Take your girly hairdryer or your manly heatgun and heat up the reflector in front and in back of it so the adhesive can loosen up. I popped the hood and pulled the bumper towards me a little so the two tabs can unhook itself. This allows more room at the top of the reflector where I wanted to stab at it. Then take your small screwdriver and start prying slowly at the top corner. Once it comes loose then the rest slowly peels away with some pushing. BAM! This is where I stopped taking pictures and got too excited and wanted the reflector installed. All you need to do is peel away the tape on the IND reflector and expose the tape, then slowly position the reflector behind in the bumper and press it into place. Then snap the 2 bumper tabs back into place, put the fender liner back and secure the screws all where they belong. Thats it. Repeat on the other side. All done.
