This discussion reminds me of EPS v. Hydraulic Steering. In other words, if you only know EPS it is great, until you drive a 3 series with good ole' hydraulic steering.
The 3G RFTs are good, and way better than earlier versions. Then you put on a set of the new Michelin PSS and you realize, the RFTs suck hard. It is that simple, and the new Michelins have a 25k+ mile tread life and less cost than the RFT 3G. Do not kid yourself - if you want the safety and convenience of the RFT, I totally understand but realize what you are missing, which is about an extra 30%+ potential out of your cars overall handling. |
