Fitting 3 people and luggage for a 3 week holiday in a Z4
OK it's a bit of a cheat, but on the luggage side I am now a tetris champion Almost none of that stuff was in the front, and yes that is a guitar. A comfortable 3 weeks - 'roof up only' between hotels though. The major issue comes in October... |

I glad to see that I'm not the only one who won't leave home without a yoga mat!

And they are compatible with the Z4... My 6yo gets a ride when he is good, and my 3yo is motivated into growing taller every day so that she can ride one day soon as well.

It's an interesting argument, but not sure I will get away with it : ) A few year to go to reach that stage. Right now we don't have the beans to buy a good 4 door in addition, and the Z4 will get limited outings for the next couple of years...
Trust me I am looking into solutions! |

I've got a son coming Franecsco, mid october. Do you know which you are having yet?
Glad the picture inspired you to go for it! It's amazing what you can fit in there if you try. (and as long as you are prepared to have the roof up for the major pitstops). The two suitcases in the middle are around 60cm length, 40cm width and 28cm depth. Can be seen in an old post of mine here My top tip for a pregnant lady. Get her to use a blanket between her body and the seatbelt to absorb bumps. Our suspension can be a little unforgiving. Be generous and don't use 'sport', absolutely all the time. (This is painful, but was necessary!). Also, be aware of where the location of the next toilet is... |

my (future) wife firstly fasten seatbelt , then he sit down, with seatbelt between his shoulder and the seat.....after a bit of a discussion, he decided to use seatbelts properly, with a cushion in between....
about the toilet...I know.... I have three options.... 1 this one:http://cgi.ebay.it/Female-Catheter-M...item29edc8ac0d 2 a she-wee 3 upgraded nav system with toilets included in the point of interest..... anyway I will have a son, too.... Francesco |

lol good luck with those options!! I have suggested the 'Shepee' also, it did not go so well...
Get a Sat Nav with all McDonalds listed. Then go in and pretend to buy something while using the toilet, in the UK it is known as a 'McShit with lies'! Congratulations on your son : ) |

On the seatbelt - there are a range of products that will protect the baby while still using the seatbelt properly - and be a bit more comfortabel for the mums to be. Most use a seat pad with a hook that pulls the lap section of the seat belt down between the legs to the seat pad. This stops it being able to tighten over the abdomen, and still holds the legs in place in a crash. one example is http://www.tummyshield.com.au/defaul...nuitem&id=1002
