Elastomeric roof sealant removal from paint

As the title says is there anyone "chemically inclined" that can help me on removing liquid plastic roof sealant from the hood of my car? I had my car parked at a friends garage and while the repaired the roof with some elastomeric roof sealant after a day it rained and it dripped the sealant along with water all over the hood. I tried Aceton on a small area and it seemed to work but it left some very unnoticeable scratches... Any help would be much appreciated.

My usual go-to is Meguire's cleaner wax for surface contaminants on the clearcoat since it is pretty mild and I can't do any self inflicted damage to the clearcoat.

Thanks man, i used the meguiers cleaner and then Dodo juice micro prime and did the work.
