We went to the doctor, all of us idiots and got our bloodwork done to figure out what exactly will kill us soon now that we are pushing 40. We are doing the same in July and the one with most improved scores in both fitness and in 6 months will win our epic grand price of a goat.

Oh, I know who it is. My resolution in that regard is.....her next business trip, I'm going by the city dump in my Honda Pilot full of some of the clutter. C'mon, 2012 Home and Garden's that haven't been touch since.....2012? Gotta go....

I'm the only one who shops in our household, and I only buy groceries. It takes me a week to check out the production chain for a pair of shoes so ... Pants, anything made out of cotton, a nightmare. I hate all accessories and I really do not get why people need jewelry. Hell, I don't even buy my kids toys since they love making their own and since tv and commercials haven't effected their imagination, they practically come up with their own games from the books they've read. I have a rule that even at Christmas or for a birthday, each set of grandparents get to buy one gift for each kid.

My mother in-law is my complete opposite, and she thinks its okay to haul her stuff over to us. I give them away as fast as I can but I'm sure that any given moment I have extra 5 salad bowls, more table cloths (seasonal too, naturally) than anyone could need, not to mention that I've never, not once in my life put one on any flat surface.

We cleaned up the closets today, and my two sons, who only like one pair of pants and refuse to wear the rest, have 57 pairs. What in the fuck is going on here? She must have a key and she keeps sneaking this stuff in my home since I sure as fuck hate all this clutter.

And candles. I love candles. I just would prefer not to have a set of all holders ever made.

I regularly (3 times a year) take all extra away and donate them, but I still haven't figured out how exactly has she managed to turn my simple and glitter free life in to one of candle sticks everywhere.

So my advice to you is, do it. Take it all away, if nothing else works, burn down the house. Less is more.

Edit: To be fair, most of the stuff she brings is ours but that's why we put them in the storage we pay for: We don't want them in our home!

I just had all my blood, hormones and nutrient panels done. Found out what i'm deficient in, what i need to supplement, etc... I'm currently popping mass quantities of fish oil, D3 and magnesium. All before bed time and I'm sleeping like a rock! yay!

There is some merit to the thinking, I mean if a person can accept a job without a fear of losing benefits for a time, it in theory could boost low income job market.

A friend of mine landed in to couples therapy not long ago. They thought it was so beneficial they ended it after the first session, after they were asked if they talk about their feelings. I'm still dying from this cold which means I've been stuck in doors reading stupid work stuff while everyone else is outside drinking cold milk and enjoying the sunshine.
