Spied: E89 BMW Z4 with the upcoming M-Sport package in Space Gray

This new M-Sport kit which is said to include a full cosmetics kit as well as a mild power upgrade and subtle massaging of the suspension as well has been spied road testing once again. The car was previously caught at the 'ring undergoing more serious track testing and now that the car is doing road testing, the kit is likely very close to production. In fact, the package is likely complete and ready for sale and is likely awaiting the marketing nod to go to market!

Looks great, go BMW!

It doesn't look as different externally to the standard Z4 as I would have expected for an M-sport package.

Don't know why they bother covering up the BMW badges. It's not like it's really fooling anyone.

My 135i M-sport packed car has no discernable exterior differences except for the LeMans Blue color, and wheels.

Maybe my expectatons were a little off. Maybe any difference will be more noticable once they get rid fo the camo.

Needs a small lip-spoiler on the deck-lid IMO...

I agree with your opinion. Anyone else notice the wheels look like 230s.

I can only tell a difference on the front bumper, but what is so different with the back that they have to cover it up? Blacked out towards the bottom, perhaps?

That's because all 135is worldwide have the M-Sport exterior parts standard. The 128i (Standard, non-M-Sport) is what the 1er coupé really looks like without the M-Sport exterior.

Most likely the only difference will be a black diffuser on the bottom. That's what BMW has done with E82/E9x M-Sport packs.

The ride height is quite legendary in the last photo on the first post.

Does anyone know what the likely power increase will be? Also, is it possible to fit this package post-purchase?

Looks like this car has brown leather, maybe more interior choices coming too?

I would lay money your right, thats usually a trade-mark of an "m-sport" kit, maybe slightly more aggressive around the exhaust outlets...
