I actually like him a bit more now. It takes some moxie to start bashing peoples' cars on a car forum.

here you go - put your clown shoes on before you read these though.

i love owning people online....

“It's fair to say that we overestimated the potential of passing leading-edge technology from Mercedes-Benz to Chrysler. Unlike premium brand customers, American volume brand customers are far too price-sensitive to absorb its cost…In the final analysis, we learned a practical lesson about the limits of globalization," Zetsche told the gathering.

2) http://www.allpar.com/cars/chrysler/crossfire.html

The Crossfire was marketed as bringing the best of both DaimlerChrysler worlds, but its ad campaign may have turned off both domestic and foreign buyers; it promoted the superiority of German craftsmanship (ignoring Mercedes’ sinking quality ratings, Chrysler’s quality gains, the fact that it was the only Chrysler made in Germany, and other details) and American styling.

Crossfire had the C32 AMG 3.2 SC engine

3) http://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/201...luxury-series/

This 300 was equipped with Chrysler’s most modern drivetrain, consisting of the 292 horsepower Pentastar V6 engine connected to Chrysler’s new 8-speed automatic transmission that ZF is supplying (the “imported from Detroit” 300 was assembled in Canada using an engine built in Mexico and a German transmission). The combination works very well together, with more than enough power and the right gear available for just about any real world driving situation.

I have to admit, I rented a “limited version” of the first gen car, with the 3.5 liter engine and found myself liking it, especially the way it drove. Whether it’s the German influence, I don’t know, but the suspension managed to be controlled but not punishing

4) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chrysler_300

The Chrysler 300 is based on the rear-wheel drive Chrysler LX platform which features components derived from the W211 Mercedes-Benz E-Class of 2003 to 2009.[6] Shared components include the rear suspension design, front seat frames, wiring harnesses, steering column, the 5-speed automatic transmission's design, and a derivative of the 4Matic all-wheel drive system. The Chrysler 300 also features a double wishbone front suspension that is derived from the W220 Mercedes-Benz S-Class.

5) http://www.newchallengerstore.com/Ch...iew_Page_3.htm

On December 3, 2007, Chrysler started taking deposits for the third-generation Dodge Challenger which debuted on February 6, 2008...The LC chassis is a modified (shortened wheelbase) version of the LX platform that underpins the 2006–Current Dodge Charger, 2005–2008 Dodge Magnum, and the 2005–Current Chrysler 300.

The LX was developed in America to supersede the previous Chrysler LH platform, which had been designed to allow it to be easily upgraded to rear and all-wheel drive. Many Mercedes components were incorporated, including the Mercedes-Benz W220 S-class control arm front suspension, the Mercedes-Benz W211 E-Class 5-link rear suspension, the firewall and floor pan, the W5A580 5-speed automatic, the rear differential, and the ESP system. The LX cars are built at Brampton Assembly in Brampton, Ontario, Canada.

my 392 SRT8 has more German components in the suspension and platform than anything...

even my NAG1 transmission comes out of an AMG.....

hell, even my RT's transmission comes out an AMG.....

Hate to break to you Fritos, but the auto trans in your SRT (short for Seriously Retarded Transportation?) is not a ZF 8-speed. It's an antiquated 5-speed...the same kind that BMW had back in the 90's. And although it's true that your car's suspension and chassis are partly based on 15-year-old Mercedes technology, none of those parts are actually made in Germany. You are right about your car being made in Brampton, Ontario, however. They also make some really good curry in Brampton...

I don't think Ti335 ever heard of globalization. Any how, I guess my post holds no value since he is already banned.

Who is he to be such a douchebag anyway, he only drove a 335. King of the douchebags is reserved for M3 owners only

dang - didn't even give me a chance to bring the heat....

all chrysler/dodge vehicles are pretty much e-class benz frames.....

the transmissions found in the HEMI's and SRT8's are AMG 5-speed transmissions...

suspension is also Merc.

i mean, only an idiot would dispute this - unless you have lived under a rock for the last 15 years, you would know that THERE WAS A FREAKING MERGER FOR GOD'S SAKE !!!!
