CF Interior Trim
Found these on Ebay and thought it's a pretty cool option to those looking/interested so I figure I'd share. I'm kind of considering it if it weren't so pricey and required me to send them my stock pieces I am replacing. They also make a CF steering wheel option though they do not have a pic of that.

Are these carbon fiber or "carbon fiber"?

I believe it is real carbon fiber since it cost $1400 plus a $699 deposit which will be refunded once they receive your stock trim pieces. I can't say I'm an expert though but it certainly doesn't look like just some cheap overlay.

wow. do I go with the less than 150 dollar 3M carbon fiber film or $1400 with $699 deposit plus tax and shipping for some one to mess with my stock aluminium pieces. I can't really make up my mind on this.
thoughts?

I get the sarcasm though but this is actually a typical price for real CF trim pieces. A real CF trim pieces for my Lexus IS was around $2k too. Price would go down a bit if there are alternative options/sellers but this is the first CF trim pieces I saw for the E89.

See, how come BMW makes CF options (M Performance Accessories) for the F30, F10 and 1-series? E89 never gets love.

Wouldn't mind seeing some photos with it installed. Might go really well with the Coral red leather.

just dollars and cents: bmw will make and sell zillions of F30s compared to e89s so the e89 market is very small/not worth their effort (it is upsetting)

That is the sad truth but it's still good that the E89 is pretty rare on the streets. I think I've seen one other E89 ever since I bought mine 2 months ago.
