Any part can fail. What's important is the frequency, and the frequency isn't there anymore. I had 2 turbos blow on me, but I wouldn't characterize that as a problem with Z4's in general because I've never heard of it happening to anyone else. Lucky me

Correct. My hpfp failure was with a 2011 35i with the latest #446 pump model. Dealer replaced it with another #446.
