BMW Perfomance Recaro seats

Hi guys

I've just purchased a Z4 35i and I'm currently bidding on a pair of performance seats on eBay. Does anyone know if these bolt straight on or will modification be required.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Think you need sliders. There is an old post of some one putting them in...

plus the electronics will be an issue and will likely require coding. I would investigate that too

I am having similar thoughts (read: Recaro Sportster aka BMW Performance).... been in touch with a local (CZ) Recaro dealer lately... they keep on saying: once the OEM´s and Recaro´s replacement are of the same specs (side bags, manual/electric), the installation is a matter of fitting/modifying the anchor rail only (no issues of electrics incompatibility or coding)... well, the reality will reveal itself early next season latest....

Moreover: (for money) they can (and will) make the installation "street legal", ie. incl. all paperwork/bureaucracy needed

I would confirm there are actually side airbags. My understanding is that the lack of those is the reason those seats haven't come to the US in any car
