Map Updates?

What's it going to cost us to update the maps for the NAV? I doubt that this is something the dealer can do for free, correct?

In Sweden we got 2 years free update and then it's about 150 US for an update (Europe) 100US for an domestic.

here in the states it will probably be software update at every service and most likely free, since we don't need to buy dvd's.

In australia they do it free with your annual service. Maps are the same for all BMW models

I will be very pleased and somewhat surprised if we get free map updates for 4 years.

who's in '08? you?

i remember in my E90 i never got an update and once i took a trip to washington DC the navi is like "please take the following right", and there was no exists as far as my eyes could see... pretty funny, then it would be like get off this ramp and it would be like a dead end tunnel...

There is no way they will give it to you FREE !! I had to pay $189 for an update for my 335i

Z4 3.0i 2009 model and premium 02-08 installed. The map (all Europe) upgrade costs in Italy about 180 € (246 $).
