M3 style roof anyone?

What do you think of this?

Would look a bit 'special' on the roof of a Z4!

Looks nice, but to me fake is fake. A bit like putting an M badge on a non-M car.

I had posed this question about a carbon fiber roof for the Z. This product reminds me of wood paneling in my parents basement back in the 70s.

The carbon fiber roof on the M3 is really nice in comparison and I would only settle for that quality; which is not happening anytime soon, so no worries.

I reckon a gloss back vinyl wrap on an AW zed could look good.

The carbon fiber wrap may look a bit fake on the video but it looks way better in real life.

This is so tacky I don't even know where to begin. I don't like it when it's REAL (i.e. showing off carbon fiber when it has VERY little functional benefit to most drivers in most driving conditions). How much weight are you saving by having carbon fiber side mirrors?

Well, don't get me started on the fake stuff...
