We Need Someone to Build an E89 Like This

I took the Z and my Dad took his 1978 911 SC to the Cape Cod Car Club Auto show. Check out this BMW 2002 Gasser.
Who's 1st to build an E89 like this?

Don't know...perhaps a little bit to much for a daily driver...

This is on my radar screen for building

818kg, mid mounted WRX motor. We all know how easy it is to get 400+hp out of those....

Factory Five is only 30 minutes from my house. I stop by every few weeks to see whTs next from the best replica car manufacturer in the industry. There Cobra's are on short list of my next car to do. I saw a complete Project 818 at the FF Annual open house and it is an exciting car, especially with the WRX motor.

I purchased a Remin Dash kit from CARID.

Many color and material choices including an OEM match to my Ash Grain Wood in the Z. I had them send me a sample color to test the match.

I purchased the basic kit.

It installs over the existing black plastic with 3M backing tape.

It is easy but take your time.
Clean the dash EXTRA CLEAN WITH alcohol wipes many many timeS prior to installation especially if you have used Armor All or similar.
Heat each piece with a hair dryer prior to installation.
